Location Scout

Location scouting is honestly one of my favorite things to do. It's a rare moment where I get to just wander around, take time to think, and observe beautiful locations. It's completely inspiring to go to the place you're about to shoot at, and dream of what you can create. I always try to visit wedding locations beforehand, but sometimes it's just not possible and I have to check it out on my way to wherever the bride is getting ready. For Danny & Sheena's wedding, I was lucky enough that my husband was one of the groomsmen. So while everyone else was leaving the rehearsal for dinner, I snuck out and and did a location scout. Totally worth it.

This horse really wanted to eat my lens. The next day, while shooting portraits of Sheena & Danny, we met a goat who had a mean craving for wedding dress. Pictures to come soon :)

San Francisco Greenhouse Love Shoot

It's funny to call this a "love shoot" because these two aren't in love. They aren't dating at all.  In fact, they both are in relationships with other people! But, they both happen to be friends of mine, and they both happen to be ridiculously good looking. Being good looking, and being friends with a photographer automatically makes you a semi professional model :)

This shoot was for Sandra from Sleigh Dresses.  She custom made this gorgeous wedding dress, and it's actually going to be her wedding dress in a couple weeks! Tamra Marie Johnson helped us out with the hair and makeup.

Enjoy!

Jefferson St. Mansion Wedding: Teresa & Carlos Wedding

Teresa & Carlos were married at the Jefferson St. Mansion in July of this year.  They are a couple of serious style. Teresa wore a gorgeous feather number in her hair (I'm a huge fan of feather hair pieces), she also had a second lil party dress for the reception, and they salsa danced for their first dance. They are way cooler than I could ever hope to be,  and it was a blast hanging out with them all day.

Yes...I know I got a little carried away with the amount of images in this post. Sorry :)
