Treasure Island Wedding Photography- Nicole & Neil

Nicole & Neil had a Art Deco themed wedding at the Administration Building on Treasure Island. The day before a water pipe had burst and created flooding and a giant sink hole just steps away from where their ceremony was, but you would never be able to tell! I think Nicole is the ONLY bride who would not have freaked out getting that news the morning of her wedding, but instead just took it in stride and the day went perfectly!

Touristy days- Alcatraz

Sometimes when we live in a place, we don't do all the typical touristy things. Yes some of them are not worth it at all (pier 39 anyone??), and others absolutely are. I'd been wanting to go to Alcatraz for pretty much the entire 6+ years I'd lived in the city, and finally got around to it when my parents came to visit. I LOVED it. The history of the place is really interesting, and the buildings and scenery themselves are haunting and beautiful.

For some reason I also really want to get some friends and do a double deck bus tour. On a sunny day, sitting on the top with a bottle of white wine you snuck on. Sounds fabulous to me!
