San Francisco Engagement Photography-Tina & Stephen

I posted a couple of these last week, but I couldn't resist posting more. Tina & Stephen are super cute, and had planned out exactly where they wanted to do all of their photos. Tina adores San Francisco, and wanted to go to all of the places in the city that are special to them. We started in Hayes Valley where Tina lives now, then we went to Chrissy Field where Stephen proposed, and ended up at Delfina where they had their first date. So here is a backwards look at their relationship :) I can't wait until their wedding!

A litte of this....a little of that

Happy Valentines Day everyone! I hope everyone has a fabulous day that is full of love, sweets, and lacy underwear, 3 things today is all about!

Fitting with the theme, here are some images from this weekends boudoir extravaganza (1 boutique hotel, 6 girls, lots of lace and champagne). Also, some photos from a recent valentines day food shoot!

Have a great day everyone!

Valentines day dessert ideas

What's everyone doing for valentines day tomorrow? We're saving our night out for Friday, but I think I may do a rare dessert in after a homemade dinner tomorrow. Typically our "dessert" is sharing pint of ben and jerry's eaten straight out of carton while watching TV on the couch (we're very exciting) so maybe I'll step it up a notch. Nothing too fancy,  but really any excuse to dip things in chocolate works for me. Plus fondue just feels a bit more special :)

Food styling & hand modeling for these fondue shots are by the fabulous Emily Garland!

San Francisco Foggy Nights

A few nights ago I went out to dinner with a friend, and on the way home the fog was getting thicker and thicker. I live in one of the foggiest parts of the city, which isn't so great usually, but this night the fog with the lights looked amazing. The whole sky was lit up an orangey  color and everything looked soft and dreamy. I decided to bust out my tripod and camera and take some long exposure photos on the street in front of my house. I probably looked a little silly in my dress and cowboy boots, with at least 1/2 bottle of wine in me, taking photos at almost midnight. But it was worth it, don't you think?!
